George Coleman Eads III, known professionally as George Eads (born March 1, 1967), is an American actor. He is best known for his role as Nick Stokes in the CBS police procedural drama CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
Early Life and Career: Eads was born in Fort Worth, Texas. He attended Texas Tech University. His acting career began in the mid-1990s.
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation: Eads's breakthrough role was as Nick Stokes, a DNA specialist, on CSI. He was a main cast member for fifteen seasons. His departure from the show was surrounded by some controversy.
Other Roles: Beyond CSI, Eads has appeared in other television shows and films, including ER, Grapevine, and Gutshot Straight. He also starred in the reboot of MacGyver as Jack Dalton.
